Flaunting the loopholes of contract talks, bosses attack workers who're left open to taunting
Taunting workers with impunity; blood-bought immunity is what corporations are flaunting
Ready to glean the barest coin, to keep their Switzerland bank accounts steady
Steady turns the revolving door of employees; a carefully scripted HR defense is always ready
Debt is banker's leverage against the just; concerning truth, monetary gods never seem to fret
Fret not concerning the "slumlords" reward; he'll inherit the accrued interest of his sin debt
Joy is fleeting in the factory wastelands; the neverending gloom seeks our hope to destroy
Destroy the machines! some may say, but the owners would only rebuild them with joy
Cotton gins foretold of mechanized slavery; I dream the accountant's ledgers are rotten
Rotten chains of command; their pledges of fiduciary fidelity to workers are forgotten
Lenin was a brilliant man; his strategems denounced years later by a homophone Lennon
Lennon once sang of a world that could stand free, yet the powers fain fealty to an iron Lenin
