Literature Text

Solitary confinement
In a stainless steel room
I'd been waiting on pins and needles
Since long before noon

Any thing you want to declare
Before you enter in
To begin
Exivisation?*

Two things would I ask
Even three, if you please
Queries I hold
In perpetuity...

Where are spring maidens created
Their beguiling smiles
And voices that soothe
To enchant any red-blooded man?

Are closed books in libraries deep
Engaged in a cabal
To clandestinely supersede
The dullness of routine?

Finally, do tell
Have you seen
If you know
The path to find
The halls of snow?

Ochsner nasally laughed
As Ndrim are wont to do
No reprieve did I find
My last seconds became few

Well, so long old boy
Ochsner stated
No need to be coy
I know you're elated

Just one more thing
I was wondering...
Will I come with a guarantee
To receive scheduled maintenance
With oil changes for free?
Hi folks! This is my first entry in the poem project over at :iconglory-be-project:
This poem is from the Day 4 journal: [link]

It includes:

:bulletgreen: A dream (even if one is made-up)

:bulletgreen: Write down three questions you would ask as if they were the last ones you could (I took artistic liberties with that)

:bulletgreen: A new word coined by me: *exivisation n. from Latin exsisto = become and vis = powerful. 1. The process of becoming powerful; the process of becoming a cyborg.
The main character is a prisoner who is being held by an alien race of cyborgs, who are going to transform him against his will. I guess this is sci-fi/humor?
