JD 9770 STS I

Shot this John Deere combine in Lapeer County, MI.
There is an operator and a passenger. They waved to me as I shot the pictures.

In this photo the farmer is harvesting right to edge of his field. It was an interesting location, because just outside the right of the frame, is a two-lane paved road.

There was never any danger of the cutter head interfering with traffic, but it definitely is something you don't see every day...that is, a combine that close to a busy road.
